Looking for that next flex photo / experience in your Evan Williams lineup? Swing by The Evan Williams Experience® at 528 W. Main St. in Louisville KY! They offer a great tour, a look into the history of Evan Williams, details on how their massive production works, a nice tasting and gift shop exclusives, like this here bottle of Master Blend.

Evan Williams has coined this as their Master Blend containing 23-year old, Single Barrel, 1783, Bottled-in-Bond, Signature Black. WHooo boy! that's a lot of EW. I feel like if you are a big enough EW fan, that you can have fun infinity-ing a bottle for yourself!. These expressions are not highly allocated and fairly easy to come by.

Served neat in a Glencairn glass - 90 proof - 45% alc/vol

Whiskey Review:

Nose: Big notes of brown sugar and green apple with a mellow tobacco behind it. Sniffing deeper I find a decadent vanilla cake frosting that is very inviting.

Palate: Very oily and easy to swish around with a leathery mouthfeel. A luge of vanilla slides around the palate and brings out big green apple notes that intermingle with brown sugar and caramel. A very light cinnamon pepper spice kicks up on the back-end.

Finish: A bit of oak, a touch of tobacco and some nice caramel linger around on a juicy moderate finish.

Score: 8.6
